Corrosion doesn’t stop, but a corrosion management program can help to control it. By implementing one, organizations can proactively plan to improve the way critical assets are designed, operated, and maintained thereby reducing the cost of damage control and unexpected failures from corrosion.
We are dedicating a chapter to our specialized Eddy Current Testing method in this Pre- Qualification Document, because it is our philosophy that each probe has to be adapted to the specific inspection task when it comes to Eddy Current. What does that mean in practice? It means Takreer International does not use conventional equipment and probes to execute the job. Takreer International has developed with its Research and Development Team in Germany at its mechanical and electrical workshop its own equipment and its own software and develops customized probes and software for each inspection task. That creates the difference between Takreer International and other companies and gives the client the following advantages:
- The complete tube length can be inspected
- Several hundred tubes per shift and eddy current system
- Detection and separation of inside and outside defects
- Evaluation of defect depth
- Defect monitoring capabilities based on the digital storage of the EC- signals
